General Assistant - Full Time, Permanent required for Baia, based in Scissett, West Yorkshire.

The owner manager is looking for a General Assistant to work across all aspects of the business.

This varied role is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow and develop their skill-set and experience with a vibrant, fashion business.

Training will be provided for all aspects of the role.

Job Role:

  • Production work

  • General admin

  • Liaise with suppliers, customers and PR company

  • Dispatch

  • Social media assistant

  • Occasional travel to London with the Director for exhibitions and business meetings

Profile:

  • Experience of machine sewing

  • Knowledge and understanding of the fashion industry

  • Knowledge and understanding of social media in a commercial setting

  • Neat and accurate

  • Practical, hands on approach

  • Attention to detail

  • Sound work ethic

  • Proactive and positive attitude

  • Self-motivated and capable

  • Reliable time management and personally well organised

Remuneration:

Living wage, 40 hour week
